Penn State Berks takes great pride in its relationships with corporations, businesses, and organizations in the Greater Reading area. Leaders from many organizations serve on various campus and curriculum Advisory Boards and they support our students through internships, mentoring, lecturing, and small group presentations. The Penn State Berks faculty has created strong ties with area corporate and organization groups as well as Chancellor Radha Pyati, who has been involved with regional planning for the revitalization of Berks County.
Companies remain committed to building and strengthening our campus through financial support for programs, building needs, and scholarships. Many businesses contribute directly to the campus in the form of major gifts or $25,000 and above.
Penn State Berks' list of scholarship programs sponsored by community organizations emphasizes the importance of having a trained and competent workforce employed in the region.
Corporate matching gift programs remain an important motivator for individual giving. With many matching gift programs, not only are the employee gifts matched, but also spouses, directors and retired employees may be eligible to participate. Some corporations will double or triple their gift in matching an employee's contribution.
Penn State Office of Development and Alumni Relations is available to assist your organization in evaluating opportunities for collaboration with the diverse talent of the people at Penn State.
